I have trained with other venders for defensive skills while carrying a concealed weapon , one in particular was a horror story.. however .. after having Medic Up Consulting suggested to me, followed them on social media for a time, I knew that I had wanted to train with them at some point. When my ccw renewal came about I knew exactly who I was going to get the process done, Ron, after having spoken with him , I was excited to get out there and train . the range day itself, with Juan, being able to get some good training in , as well as some good laughter as well..

also being called to shoot a drill with him made the experience much more fun and insightful . there is no other vendor that I can recommend as high as Medic UP.

I will be returning again for some further training in the very near future.

I cant wait to get out there on the range again with that dude .. hopefully Ron will be there as well haha

So glad I decided to run with Medic Up. The training staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day enjoyable. There was a lot of people on the line, but that didn't stop the trainers from helping those that needed it and those that could benefit from some pointers. The classroom portion wasn't as fun, but the instructor did his best to make it as informative and enjoyable as possible. Will definitely go back to renew and would recommend to anyone looking to obtain their CCW. Thanks Medic Up team for your professionalism and help knocking out the LASD requirements.

Excellent class with an excellent company. I was up for my CCW renewal. Went with Medic Up Consulting as a co worker had highly recommended them when he did his renewal. His recommendation was on point. The instructors were excellent. Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They were able to offer valuable insight to the course due to their own life experiences which were pertinent to the course. The instructors interacted extremely well with all of the students. They were very patient and took the time to help the students who needed the extra help with certain sections of the course.
This was my third renewal and I had used two other companies in the past. Medic Up Consulting was definitely far superior to the other two companies I had used previously. They are far more knowledgeable than the previous companies I used and they did their best to make sure all of the students, primarily the first time CCW applicants, were confident in their performance during the course activities. There was a good mix of renewal and first time students in this course. They were all very impressed by the instructors and the course itself.
I will definitely recommend Medic Up Consulting to others who are looking to get their first CCW permit or need to renew their permit. i will surely return to this company when it is time to renew my permit.

Just did the CCW 16hr course with them and it was a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and very knowledgeable in what they do. It made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend on taking their courses.!

While I am not a fan of losing cell service on the way up and down to burro canyon . It was a great time and learning adventure ! Also learning better hand placement and talking over whatever it is I wanted to talk about with the team was great. Randy was an awesome shooting instructor and Seabass was an awesome medical instructor!

I recently attended a 16-hour CCW training class, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations in every way. The instructors brought a wealth of experience from various disciplines, and it showed throughout the course. They did an excellent job of teaching and coaching students with a wide range of skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned shooters.

Range Day: This was a standout part of the course. The instructors excelled at meeting each student at their level, tailoring their guidance to individual needs. Whether you were learning the basics of shooting or refining advanced techniques, the instructors ensured everyone made progress. Safety was always a top priority, and their focus on life-saving skills added an invaluable layer to the training.

Classroom Instruction: The classroom portion was engaging and informative. The use of scenario videos, real-world self-defense situations, and personal stories from the instructors made the material highly relatable and memorable. This approach gave real meaning to the concepts and ensured the lessons would stick.

2ND time taking a course with Ron and the team and they are great at what they do! They help out in absolutely everything!
Answer ALL questions regarding laws and different types of guns etc. How to become a better gun owner and operator.
Most classes out there aren’t as qualified and will charge you more. These guys are either law enforcement or military trained, which has hands on experience on real life situations so that’s a PLUS!
Also Very Friendly so don’t be afraid to have any questions or concerns!
Overall a Great Experience, will be coming back here for all my Renewals!
