Medic Up Consulting provides California CCW firearms training for Azusa residents and surrounding San Gabriel Valley applicants. Azusa is especially important to Medic Up because our CCW live-fire training is conducted at Burro Canyon Shooting Park in Azusa.

Live-Fire CCW Training in Azusa

Medic Up conducts the range portion of its CCW program at Burro Canyon Shooting Park. Students receive structured firearms instruction in an outdoor range environment before completing the applicable live-fire qualification.

Initial-course range instruction includes firearm safety, handgun fundamentals, practical drills, safe work from a concealed-carry holster and individual coaching. Registered students receive the current arrival time, ammunition requirements and equipment list before class.

16-Hour Initial CCW Training

Medic Up’s two-day initial course is $425. Day 1 is the live-fire and medical-training day in Azusa. Day 2 is classroom instruction in Los Angeles.

The curriculum includes firearms safety, defensive handgun fundamentals, drawing safely from concealment, live-fire qualification, California CCW law, responsible-use-of-force decision-making, firearm transportation and storage, law-enforcement-contact considerations and hands-on Stop the Bleed training.

8-Hour CCW Renewal Training

Medic Up’s 8-hour renewal course is $275 for eligible permit holders whose issuing agency accepts the training. Renewal training includes updated legal and safety instruction, live-fire training and qualification, and emergency medical instruction.
