Claremont Police Department CCW Process

The Claremont Police Department accepts applications from Claremont residents through MyCCW. The process includes background investigation, Live Scan, psychological review, and completion of an approved CCW Firearm Safety Course and weapon qualification.

Claremont PD currently states that up to three handguns may be listed on a CCW license. For renewals, applicants whose original license was issued by another agency may need to renew through that original issuing agency. Follow CPD's current instructions for your permit.
