Downey Police Department CCW Process

The Downey Police Department accepts CCW applications from City of Downey residents through MyCCW. DPD's process includes application review, background investigation, Live Scan, psychological review, completion of an approved CCW Firearm Safety Course and weapon qualification, and final review.
