CCW Class Preparation & Equipment Help

Your CCW preparation, matched to your setup.

Arrive ready for the range with a holster that matches your handgun and the way you carry. Start with your exact handgun model, draw hand, optic, weapon light, and class date.

Eye and ear protection are required for range training

Bring properly fitting shooting eye protection and hearing protection to your CCW, renewal, qualification or Basic Pistol range session. Electronic earmuffs are an option, and suitable passive earmuffs or earplugs may also be used. Follow the equipment instructions and your instructor’s directions.

You may bring your own suitable eye and ear protection. Purchasing from Medic Up is optional.

Need equipment? Ask us about the Savior Artemis kit with passive earmuffs, safety glasses and foam earplugs, or Savior Apollo electronic earmuffs. Apollo earmuffs do not include safety glasses.

Ask about eye and ear protection for my class. Contact us before your class to confirm availability and delivery or pickup options.

A holster is required for class

Bring one safe, firearm specific holster for each handgun you bring to the range. IWB and OWB options are permitted when suitable for safe drawing and reholstering. SERPA style holsters are not permitted.

You may bring your own suitable holster. Purchasing from Medic Up is optional.

Already have a holster?

Check that it matches each handgun’s exact model and configuration, including your draw hand and any mounted optic or light. Bring it with your equipment. Contact us before class if you are unsure whether your setup meets the course requirements.

Class coming up soon? Contact us before placing a shipping order. Online holsters ship from our supplier, with normal processing of two business days plus carrier transit time. Delivery before your class depends on the order date, destination, and supplier availability.

Ask about a class rental or an equipment solution. We will confirm fit, availability, and price before your class. A rental is reserved only after Medic Up confirms it.
