Highly recommend this class to anyone who needs their 8 hour renewal! Instructors were engaging and kept the class fun. Felt very safe and professonal on the range while making sure everyone had a good time. I will absolutley use them for training in the future.
Just finished my CCW renewal class with Medic Up. 1000% recommend these guys. They give an excellent class. I was dreading taking a class with super minimal standards just because California says I have to. But the Medic Up guys actually made it an enjoyable and informative experience. And I was very happy to see they encourage gun owners to be proficient with their weapons and knowledgeable about gun laws. They are so serious about it that they even gave us a chance to show our skills and get a full refund for the course. That drill is not easy, but possible if you practice!
Didn't know what to expect for the 8 hour renewal for CCW. Pleasantly surprised, great team and for a novice shooter they helped out a lot. They spent some quality time watching us shoot and giving instruction all along.
Then the Med. training was very informative. I would not hesitate to recommend Medic Up for any firearm training .
I have trained with other venders for defensive skills while carrying a concealed weapon , one in particular was a horror story.. however .. after having Medic Up Consulting suggested to me, followed them on social media for a time, I knew that I had wanted to train with them at some point. When my ccw renewal came about I knew exactly who I was going to get the process done, Ron, after having spoken with him , I was excited to get out there and train . the range day itself, with Juan, being able to get some good training in , as well as some good laughter as well..
also being called to shoot a drill with him made the experience much more fun and insightful . there is no other vendor that I can recommend as high as Medic UP.
I will be returning again for some further training in the very near future.
I cant wait to get out there on the range again with that dude .. hopefully Ron will be there as well haha

So glad I decided to run with Medic Up. The training staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day enjoyable. There was a lot of people on the line, but that didn't stop the trainers from helping those that needed it and those that could benefit from some pointers. The classroom portion wasn't as fun, but the instructor did his best to make it as informative and enjoyable as possible. Will definitely go back to renew and would recommend to anyone looking to obtain their CCW. Thanks Medic Up team for your professionalism and help knocking out the LASD requirements.
