This was my second time using Medic Up for my renewal training. Just like 2 years ago, it was an amazing class taught by very humble instructors. The class was a lot of fun! Will definitely look at some other training courses presented by these guys, but for sure I will be seeing these guys again for my next renewal in two years!
Juan and Sebastian are outstanding instructors. Every time I train with them, I walk away with new details and techniques that make me a safer and more capable shooter. They don’t just rush through the curriculum—they take the time to explain the “why” behind everything, answer questions, and provide practical feedback you can immediately apply. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to safety are second to none. If you’re looking for high-quality CCW training, I highly recommend Medic Up Consulting.
Great experience with the Medic Up team. Great to shoot at the Butro Canyon Park outdoors first of all. Much nicer than an indoor range. Learned a ton of great information and had fun both days. Great instructors, great information, and safety above all. Would highly recommend to everyone!
I took the initial 16-hour training course with Medic Up, and it was a great experience. From the beginning, it was clear that safety was the top priority. All of the instructors were knowledgeable and brought different areas of expertise, which made the class both informative and engaging.
I learned a lot about medical response, legal responsibilities, and firearm handling and techniques. The instructors did an excellent job explaining the material and sharing real-world experience, making it easy to stay engaged throughout the course.
Overall, the class never felt like a chore, even though it was a 16-hour requirement. I'll definitely be signing up for more courses with Medic Up in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality training.
It was a really fun class where we got to work on a lot of cool stuff like barricade work, movement, timed reloads, and other drills that stress tested your abilities. It's also a much smaller class than the CCW so you're also able to shoot more and get more personalized feedback from the instructors. I had my first competition the following day, so I was able to work on some bad habits I wasn't even aware of. I left feeling much better prepared for competition and real life defense scenarios.
